A lot has been happening in our region (now to be called Chapter) over the past few months. I’ll highlight some of these things below and note a few things which lie ahead for the coming year.
We are now a Chapter of Illuman!
Just a week ago we sent in our application to affiliate with Illuman. This is a huge accomplishment! We are now a non-profit corporation in Indiana with a board of directors (our Council of Elders), we have purchased liability insurance, and completed all requirements to become a chapter of Illuman so that we will be able to use the M.A.L.E.s programs and materials, and to get not-for-profit status with the IRS. We are excited about where all of this will lead. Talk to me or any of our Elders if you have thoughts or questions.
