The Urgency of Reconciliation: A Sacred Calling
HOW?:
Because we are intentionally living even deeper into experiencing ourselves as “Beloved Sons of God in Whom God is well pleased” – coming to an even more profound understanding that we are servant leaders. By contributing to a community to experience the Presence of the Divine in a virtual space: in small and large groups; a sacred walk; and in learning from and being joy-full with each other in a sacred community.
WHY ATTEND?:
Attend for the joy, peace, and acceptance from being with other men who are seekers. To be welcomed and welcoming of all who bring an open heart, curiosity, spiritual courage, and a commitment to their growth.
For seekers of community, giving and receiving affirmation, and wanting to experience the joy and peace – as well as the challenges, unknowing, and messiness — that come with being a Beloved Son of God, and a Reconciler (in our spiritual DNA), each in our own called way.
“Society, the world, is transformed by people who believe, who celebrate the presence of God, and who transform the world using symbols, gestures, and the old stories of belief and religion. The starting point is always in community.”
-RITES OF JUSTICE, by Megan McKenna
“God loves each of us as if there were only one of us.”
-St. Augustine
“One must face the fact that “good intentions” are only good as long as they are faithfully re-examined in light of new knowledge, and in the light of their fruit.”
-CONJECTURES OF A GUILTY BYSTANDER, by Thomas Merton
“Who then, girds us and lead us to be transformed into loving human beings? Our loved ones, spouses, partners, and children, also our leaders and those marginalized by society who are also the instruments of our transformation–all lead us in certain aspects of our lives. Each one wraps us in the swaddling bands of commitment before taking us beyond our expectations of love to the path of greater and greater intimacy and gratitude.”
