What to expect:

Spend time in nature, slow down, be in the company of others, sing, dance, wander, play, tell stories and listen. Allow nature to have its way with you. The gift of slowing has a distinct feminine quality to it. It is an intuition within that invites a slow journey into wilderness where metaphors, intuitions, and archetypes arrive to guide us.

Madi greeted us, showed us around and while we were looking for a place to set up our tent in Apache Canyon she said “The canyon (nature) will heal you.” Sitting and sleeping on the ground connects us to the healing quality of Earth. Come to this retreat in nature for your well-being. Nature cannot not heal if we take time to be there. This life, this moment, this world, this universe is a miracle.

Come sink your fingers into my soil, walk barefoot on my body, come sit on my moss under the evergreens, be with the more than human world. Know that there is more to me than you have allowed yourself to see, feel, hear, taste and smell.

Come to speak out loud to the more than human world. Your query will be answered. Coincidences may show up. Intuitions may arrive in response.

We can’t save earth unless we savor it.

Come to savor the earth. In turn, it will heal you, it will delight in your presence, it will put your mind at ease.

  1. A Covid vaccination is not required, although we are strongly encouraging those attending to take a Covid test within a day of coming.
  2. Registrants not feeling well will be asked to stay home, and upon request, will receive a full refund.

We hope these protocols meet with your approval.

The retreat leaders:

David Wenger and Tom Pawlak will weave this retreat together.

They attended a Green Man Rewilding Retreat together in Apache Canyon, NM a few years back, were blessed by their experiences, and feel called to lead this nature-based retreat. Both are on our Elders’ Council. David since our chapter began in 2010 while Tom has been on Council since 2014. They have worked together previously leading retreats and are looking forward to guiding this fall gathering.
